France is one of my favorite countries. I love the culture, food and history of this amazingly rich and beautiful country. My first visit to France was in 1982 when I visited Martinique (an overseas region of the country), with my family. I urged my parents to go there as I wanted to practice my French. Ever since that week long visit to the island, I have been enamored with France and its people. I have returned to the country on numerous occasions, most recently, Paris and Burgundy in May 2023. While I love Paris, I also enjoying exploring lesser known cities such as Bordeaux, Marseille, Cannes, etc.
